Sometimes we want to rearrange two tracks on the same time axis instead of concatenating them head by tail; and it is also called audio synchronization in some mixer software.
The basic approach to rearrange two tracks is to manually drag the track and listen to the mixed output until it is satisfied.
However, human can perceive the difference under 0.1 second (like the echo sound), and manually align two tracks well is difficult.
Aligner takes information from the beginning of 15 seconds to find out the best time latency between two tracks.
First, make sure two tracks have already been matched within 5-second differences.
Second, make sure the beginning of 15 seconds has audio content within two tracks, not merely silence or background noise.
Fourth, check out the analysed results from the email, and add silence to the track.
Let’s take a look video below for demonstration.
Tip 1. While recording, you can create percussive sounds such as tongue clicking 3-5 times at the beginning to help aligning two tracks, because such sound has great frequency dynamics.
Tip 2. For multiple tracks, use one of them as the basis, and then you can create multiple channel audio by uploading files repeatedly.
